Date: Thursday 24 September
Time: 10.00 – 11.00am
Location: Zoom webinar
BBC Young Reporter gives young people the opportunity to tell the stories that matter to them.
For their events during September’s Digital Cities Virtual series, the theme will be storytelling.
Why? We all have the power to tell stories and share news in a quick and short way, but how do we actually do this and get the attention of others?
Delivered by content creator and writer. Efe Ezekiel, the aim of this session is to give young reporters the tools and skills they need to use their voice, and create reports on the issues that matter to them.
Here are some of the topics Efe will cover:
- Content and structure
- Social voice and platforms
- Storyboarding
- How to make it compelling and attract an audience
Efe Ezekiel is a content creator and writer, TV presenter, youth mentor and founder of Ushine Ishine.
This will be a Zoom webinar. Once your registration is confirmed, you will be sent joining instructions which will include the Zoom link and password.
