Flipkart said Thursday it was hosting a month-long virtual learning and development program for its pan-Indian vendor base to educate them on best practices and insights to scale their operations and meet the massive demand over the coming holiday season. .
The month-long event was hosted on a custom virtual platform through 16 sessions and saw a 4x increase in vendor participation compared to the on-ground event in 2019. The virtual learning environment allowed vendors from smaller cities such as Vadodra, Nasik, Ernakulam, Agra, Rajkot, Mathura and Trivandrum to attend the event for the first time and connect 1: 1 with Flipkart’s leadership.
