If you have a digital video camera, you might be interested in
finding out how you can record yourself. Recording yourself is
actually very easy, and can be used to make a video recording of
yourself.
Step 1: Setting up the Tripod
The first thing that you should do is set up the tripod or other
stable base for your video camera. If you don’t have a tripod, then you
can normally make do with a steady surface like a table or wall. Adjust
the tripod so that your camcorder will be the correct height to record
you.
Step 2: Turning the Screen Round
Pull the LCD screen out from the camera and then twist it around.
This is a great feature on digital video cameras because it means you
can look at it from any position. By turning the screen around, it’s
possible to see yourself and check exactly what you look like.
Position yourself in front of the camera and check that you can are
in fact in the frame. If not, you might need to do some adjustments and
try again.
Step 3: Starting Recording
Now start recording by pressing the record button on your video
camera. Some video cameras come with a remote control, which makes
starting the recording much easier. This should show up as a symbol on
the screen. Once the video is recorded, it’s then time to check and edit
the video.
