The Oregon Ducks are known for having some of the best uniforms and gear in college football. Celebrities with no affiliation to the Ducks are often seen rocking Ducks apparel and even a select few are given custom gear of their own. Oregon has made one of the biggest sports stars in the state his own uniform to wear in the future.
Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard is arguably the most famous athlete in the state of Oregon right now and will be able to root on another Oregon team the Ducks with the custom white jersey posted on twitter by an Oregon staff member on Tuesday morning.

Oregon Director of High School Recruiting Don Johnson posted the custom Lillard Oregon football jersey to his twitter page on Tuesday, tagging the Blazers star. Johnson, a former high school coach in Portland worked with Lillard’s brother Houston, who was the offensive coordinator at Jefferson high school before taking over the program from Johnson.
The uniform tweeted out is Oregon’s white away uniform with the nightmare green lettering. The Ducks wore that uniform top twice in 2019 against Auburn and Washington.
Lillard has become a major part of the sports culture in the state of Oregon since being drafted as the No. 6 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. As a rookie, Lillard immediately made a splash in Portland being named the NBA Rookie of the Year, sweeping every Rookie of the Month award in the process. In his eight seasons with the Trail Blazers, Lillard has been named to five NBA All-Star teams and made the All-NBA First Team in 2018 with three All-NBA Second-Team selections (2016, 2019, 2020).
