It’s that time of year again, where Amazon has Prime Day, a shopping holiday where big discounts are offered on products if you have Amazon Prime, and 2020’s edition may not land you a PS5 or Xbox Series X, but it does have a number of gaming deals that you should check out all the same.
I’ve gone through the pile and picked out a few of the best deals I can find, including a few things I’m going to get myself. This spans PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC, and includes both games themselves and accessories.
Here’s what I would have an eye on if I were you.
Razer Huntsman Gaming Keyboard
If you’re looking for a keyboard upgrade, you should be checking out the selection of keyboards Razer has on sale, including this Huntsman model which boasts the “fastest keyboard switches ever.” My life changed when I finally got a mechanical keyboard, and yours will too.
Razer Naga Trinity Gaming Mouse
If you got the keyboard, you definitely need the mouse to go with it, right? Well, this is the best mouse Razer has on sale right now with all the programmable buttons you could ever hope to use, and a 16,000 DPI optical sensor to boot. This is one I think I’m grabbing for myself, given the sale price.
Razer Kraken Kitty RGB USB Gaming Headset
Alright, alright, so maybe cat ears are not your style for a headset, so they do have one without them. But if you’re a streamer, or considering it, you have to be aware how good these will look on camera, to say nothing of the sound quality these excellent headphones provide.

In the market for a new gaming monitor? This 31.5 inch Acer one on sale is something I’ve had my eye on, and you might want to check it out for yourself. I’ve used Acers many times in the past, and you’re probably not going to find a better deal on one than here on Prime Day.
Razer Blade 15 Inch Gaming Laptop
This is it, this is my exact gaming laptop! Unlike many of these products, this is the first one I actually own, so I can tell you that I have zero regrets buying this and it’s probably the best PC laptop I’ve ever gotten as my Destiny machine away from home. Wish I got it at this sale price, though.
CyberpowerPC Gamer Supreme Liquid Cool Gaming PC
Is a gaming laptop just not going to cut it for you? Then how about a full-on tower from CyberpowerPC? The sale one today has an Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8GB, 16GB DDR4, 1TB PCI-E NVMe SSD. Good enough for you? That would be good enough for me, at that price.

Nintendo games only rarely go on sale as new copies, so if you have somehow avoided getting Breath of the Wild this long, now is your chance to get it on sale for Prime Day. There are a bunch of other Switch games on sale too, which are all probably worth browsing through.
The Last of Us Part II on PS4
It’s a Game of the Year contender and Sony has allowed it to be on sale for a pretty steep discount here on Prime Day. Don’t listen to the haters, this is absolutely a game worth playing and deserves to be seen all the way through to see what you make of it for yourself.

Here’s one thing you can buy to prepare for next generation, a PlayStation Now subscription at a discount. PS Now is Sony’s answer to Xbox Game Pass, and they keep adding more and more to it in time. Worth picking up if you want a lot of stuff to play when PS5 hits.
Mortal Kombat Aftermath Kollection
Mortal Kombat 11 was quite an outing for the series, and the giant bundle which contains all the content for the game is on sale for Prime Day. You can get it for either Xbox One or PS4, so take your pick.
Those are the best deals I saw, but plenty more to browse through if you want.
